# Lifecycle Visualization

The Lifecycle Visualization is available on top of most Portfolio Element Forms.

The Lifecycle Timeline visualization represents all lifecycle types and phases based on their start dates, functioning as a roadmap for the specific Portfolio Element.

**A** – Shows the Portfolio Element name and icon.

**B** – Shows the lifecycle types defined. Manufacturer lifecycle information is available for Software and Hardware Products.

**C** – Lifecycle phase name and color as specified in the lifecycle definition table.

**D** – Marker showing today's date.
