# Personal Templates

Information on how to create Personal Templates.

Designer supports the creation of personalized templates which can contain any type of shape and drawing from the canvas.

**A** – Create the content you want to create a template of and click the TEMPLATES tab.

**B** – Select the content and drag & drop into the Personal templates area.

**C** – The personalized template will be visible now.

**D** – Click the pen icon to manage your templates.

**E** – Provide a name to your template which will be shown during a mouse-over. Click the trash icon to remove the template.

## IMPORTANT NOTICE

Using templates containing big image files can have a negative impact on the startup performance of Designer.
