Configuration overview

Five steps to make Freelucy ready for your users.

YouDesign Freelucy installs clean — no default tables, no demo data, no roles assigned. Before users can do meaningful work, an administrator configures it for your environment.

There are five tasks. Do them in this order.

#	Task	Who	Why
1	Enable relationship deletion	System Admin	Freelucy ships without delete rights on cmdb_rel_ci. Grant them once.
2	Grant access to users	ServiceNow Admin	Assign the Editor or Reader role to the right people or groups.
3	Manage cross-scope privileges	ServiceNow Admin	Let Freelucy read the tables your users need to map.
4	Manage suggested relationships	ServiceNow Admin	Define which relationships are valid between which classes.
5	Add Freelucy to a form view	ServiceNow Admin	Surface Freelucy as a button or embedded viewer on the records users open.
